At Norfolk Writing School, our mission is to help students of all ages learn how to write and publish their books.
We believe that everyone has at least one book in them and just needs the support and education to help them make their book reality.
Working with small groups of students, we take a friendly and practical approach to teaching. No prior writing experience is necessary to join our courses - just enthusiasm, an idea for a project and the willingness to learn.
Our courses include Write Your Book, Write Your Book Online, Publish Your Book and Creative Writing.
Piper Terrett is a ex-Financial Times Group journalist and former senior lecturer in writing at London Metropolitan University. A Cambridge English graduate, she is the author of three books. She studied crime writing with Lesley Grant-Adamson and has written for MSN UK, Yahoo! and Mirror Online. Most recently, she was acting Director of Communications at Newnham College, Cambridge.
We believe that high-quality professional development should be accessible to everyone. That's why we offer competitive pricing and flexible payment options to help you achieve your writing goals.
We also organise mini field trips and visits to local author talks and literary festivals, as well as inviting authors to speak to our students in class in person and via Zoom. These are tailored to our students' areas of interest.
We offer a variety of flexible formats to fit your busy schedule, including online courses, in-person classes and short workshops. You can choose the format that works best for you and your learning style.
